In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
